Annular solar eclipse camp
An annular solar eclipse observation camp
was held on the 26th of January 2020. The eclipse was to begin at 8:10 am and to end at 11:23 am.
The fantastic event was organized by the science club of sulaimaniya college, which was to be held in the college premises. The students got registered to the event using the relevant link given by the science club of sulaimaniya
The teachers, A. M. Rajah and S. H. F. Ruzaika organized the event, with the guidance of the college's principal. There were special equipment and safety glasses designed in order to view the annular solar eclipse. The students had a great time with the teachers observing the eclipse in a protective manner. A telescope also was arranged to observe the eclipse. There were beautiful patterns due to shadows of the annular solar eclipse. The students leant through experience. Special thanks goes to the science club teachers for paving the way to make the students experience the eclipse in a productive manner.
